Many of you have written about why you wanted to sign the petition, these are great and if you didn't leave a comment, please consider doing so. Even a few words show the council how much local people appreciate the trees. Local appreciation is the main thing we need to show to get these trees protected. 

If you are an animal lover then please tell us which birds and animals you've spotted using the trees. Can you see bats flying after dusk?

Finally if you can find the time to email your Councillors then that will also be helpful in finding support on the council and letting them know that we care about this. If you aren't sure who your councillor is then you can check here.
