I’ve seen a lot of posts from concerned residents who’s homes back onto the busway and are opposed to lighting. I’m not inferring that we should have blinding lights installed along every inch of the busway I simply suggest that the areas that are poorly lit or not lit at all be addressed with some sort of lighting for the safety of pedestrians and cyclists, this is just a start to ask the councils to look at it at the very least. I also understand that the wildlife needs to be protected but we must also consider the human beings that are being put at risk here and many who have already come to harm.
