I want to highlight 3 bills I have introduced that aim to address concerns related to utility costs and consumer protection:

• H5018: the profit margin of any electric distribution company gas distribution company, would not exceed four percent (4%), in any given calendar year.

• H5161: Creates a special joint legislative study commission to study public ownership of certain public utilities, including electricity and natural gas.

• H5577: Impose requirements and actions that certain electric distribution and gas distribution companies must meet prior to implementing rate changes.
