I am a resident of California, and like many others, I struggle to secure affordable car insurance. Often, I am either declined or offered solutions that are prohibitively expensive. This is not just my story but the reality for countless Californians.

Car insurance is mandatory in our state, yet the high prices make it inaccessible for many. According to the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC), as of 2017, Californians paid an average annual premium of $1,713 for auto insurance - significantly higher than the national average.

Right now car insurance for new drivers or even for with experience will cost you from $2,400 up to $4,300(my case) annual . I'm not even talking about full coverages that are currently approximately $5,400 for new drivers and new CA residents with experience.

P.S don't forget about TAX above all those prices.

We believe that everyone should have access to affordable car insurance. It's not just about complying with state laws; it's about ensuring safety and financial security for all road users.

Therefore, we call on the California Department of Insurance to review current pricing policies and work with insurance companies to lower rates. We need a solution that balances consumer affordability with business sustainability, especially during current economic strains and inflation we are all experiencing.
