We’re almost at 1500

My name is Greg.
I’m an ordinary, everyday New Zealander—a father, a husband, a builder by trade.
And right now… I’m feeling the pinch. Just like the rest of the country.
Everything is going up. Food, power, registration… and now fuel on top of it all.
I find myself standing in the supermarket, swapping out the brands we’ve always bought—just to fill the trolley.
We’re cutting back on everything. No family outings, no dinners out… even the simple things are becoming too much.
And for what?
We work hard. We pay our taxes—on our income, on everything we buy, on already inflated prices—and still it feels like we’re going backwards.
Well I’m over it.
I’m over not being heard.
And I know I’m not the only one.
So I’m making some noise.
I’m not asking for fuel taxes and RUCs to be scrapped completely (even though that would be nice)…
I’m asking for them to be lowered—just until this pressure eases.
Just give us a bit of breathing room.
Here’s the irony—my work fuel is covered by my employer…
but I’m still paying through the nose just to fill my wife’s car.
That’s the reality for a lot of us right now.
Meanwhile, the people making these decisions?
They’re not exactly feeling it like we are.
So if you’re sick of it too… stand up.
Take one minute.

Because the more voices we have, the louder we get—
and the harder we are to ignore.
LETS MAKE SOME NOISE!!
