According to David Bailey at WZZM, "BREAKING: Lowell City Manager Mike Burns intends this week to take steps to remove "Robert E. Lee" name from Lowell Showboat." I'm very pleased with Mr. Burns decision and overwhelmed by the sheer number of supporters against Confederate representation in public spaces. This is a symbolic victory against racism, and I'm very proud of the Lowell community. The struggle against white supremacy in the United States continues. Rest in power Heather Heyer.
