Hi All PLEASE JOIN THIS GROUP: I (foolishly) thought that I could game the FB system by just maintaining the FB event page and resetting the event date for the next meeting etc. and continuing our organizing efforts there. No dice, so I created the KeepGriffithWild group where hopefully a lot of us will migrate and continue to organize. https://www.facebook.com/groups/keepgriffithwild/ PROGRESS at the Rec and Park Board of Commissioners: A group of us went to speak during non agenda public comment, and what we succeeded to do today was to get the commissioners to ask Rec and Parks to show data on the DASH and congestion parking before they talk about the pilot program. Also, the results of the pilot will be publicly available. When this pilot data goes online we will need people to help look through it and find ways that we can continue to make our case for KEEPING MT HOLLYWOOD CLOSED to motor vehicle traffic. THANK YOU everyone who showed up and stuck it out! It was a loooong meeting. Gonna wind this thing up pretty soon. I know I keep saying that, but the signatures keep coming in abeit slowly.
