Currently, there are no rules established for mobile salons in the State of Louisiana. There are no rules against them either, however I have been "told" that I cannot operate it by taking it to people's homes unless the person is elderly or disabled. A mobile salon would allow anyone without transportation, single parents without childcare, working people that work during traditional brick & mortar salon hours, etc. to be able to get their hair done at their convenience.
