Recently the Tories have voted in the EU Withdrawal Bill that 'animals cannot feel pain or emotions'. Science has proved that this is wrong. Not to mention extremely inhumane and unethical.

The EU covers a lot of animal rights. The Animal Welfare Act 2006 clearly states that 'on the basis of scientific evidence, that animals of the kind concerned are capable of experiencing pain or suffering.' Lets not go back on these highly important legislations but instead reinforce them, the killing of innocent defenseless animals is disgusting, gruesome and inhumane.

Recognizing animal sentience has drastically improved animal welfare across the UK. Being kinder and realizing there is absolutely no need to kill defenseless animals is the way forwards. Therefore it would be counter-productive to go back on this ruling.

Lets stand together and urge MPs to to vote on our existing Animal Welfare Act for Post-Brexit. Killing animals is not a sport and never should be.
