Vermont has an extremely short archery deer season.  Compared to its neighboring states Vermont has 1/4 of the standard season.  Although we are requesting an increase in the archery season, we are not asking for a change in current bag limits associated with deer hunting.  We would like to see a new Vermont archery season extend from September 15 through December 31.
