Hi all, I wanted to let you all know that a Town Hall meeting has been scheduled for October 4th at 7pm at the East Roswell Rec Center (9000 Fouts Rd).  They are still considering building a tennis center somewhere else, so this is an opportunity to give your input on finding a different location.  This is also your chance to talk about the future of Big Creek Park.  My understanding is that this is not the first time the park has been threatened by development.  The master plan considers Big Creek an "active" park which means it can be developed, so this is your chance to ask them to update the plan to make it a "passive" park permanently so we won't have to go through this fight again!

I also just learned that there is a Parks & Rec meeting tomorrow September 11 at 5pm in City Hall Room 220.  Discussion and Review of Big Creek Park's master plan is on the agenda so this is another opportunity to get more info and possibly provide input.
