The council website states that young people aged 11+ are permitted to sign petitions if they attend Waltham Forest schools. The council and GLL have NOT consulted existing LOCAL stakeholders at the very start of the design process. This is a Sport England requirement for all local authorities. The proposed new sport and leisure centre must provide for all our needs over the next 4 or 5 decades. The council and GLL must not be allowed to impose this unconsulted £23m fiasco on Waltham Forest without challenge. Thank you to all who have signed and supported.
