Lewisham Council are reinstating the closure of South Row, Blackheath after it was previously removed. This will anger local residents as there is a specific petition against the closure here: http://chng.it/PNWJWG57Sn
You could also send comments to traffic@lewisham.gov.uk which is an email address set up to receive complaints about the LTN according to Mayor Damien Egan.
You can see a refutation of what the Mayor said concerning the reasons for the Low Traffic Neighbourhoods in Lewisham in his webinar last week in this blog article I have published: https://abdlondon.wordpress.com/2020/10/26/the-ltn-air-pollution-and-climate-emergency-in-lewisham/ . It demolishes the justifications he and his staff gave.
The BBC are looking for Lewisham residents to take part in a Question Time panel on the 5th November (on-line no doubt). The place to register is here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/send/u39697902 . The panel would no doubt like to hear your opinions on the road closures and the anti-democratic actions of Lewisham Council.
So as to get a good picture of the views of Lewisham residents we have put together a survey that anyone can complete. It is present here: http://survey.constantcontact.com/survey/a07ehdiapbdkgoyre0u/start
Please do complete the survey and pass the link to your friends and relations. It is not necessary to be a supporter of our campaign against the road closures to complete it! We want everyone’s opinions.
It should only take a very few minutes to complete the survey and we will publish the results in due course.
