Since I have started this petition and started the awareness of these issues so many have contacted me sharing their stories of getting FINED across the nation. The amount of drivers is absolutely out of control. Officers in Tennessee woke up almost 14 drivers along the highway with sirens and issued fines but also made the drivers move their semi trucks when they were all on their LEGAL break and sleep deprived. This is dangerous, careless and I'm very much certain the officers have something better to do like solve serious crimes rather than harass and wake up a trucker that's just trying to get some rest.
