Ask council candidates for Homefields Ward to sign up to three pledges for Dukes Meadows
0 have signed. Let’s get to 500!
Dukes Meadows Trust has achieved a great deal to improve and maintain the park, helping it achieve a Green Flag, but we have received only limited support from our local councillors. We would like to be confident that in future they will provide more active assistance. Parks are under threat, due to government budget cuts and we need our local councillors to be on our side, working with us to protect Dukes Meadows, so it stays a lovely, free to use, community space.
We are inviting all the candidates to come and find out about the work of the trust and meet our volunteers, so we can start to build a positive relationship with them.
We are also asking voters in Homefields to let candidates know that they value Dukes Meadows, as a free to use, peaceful, high quality open space and want their councillors to support it and the trust. Please ask our local council candidates to sign up to three pledges for Dukes Meadows
