LDH are open but still need your support - one final push

Last week, whilst dropping off donations, I was able to chat briefly with Lisa - a fellow Scouser ❤️ - and Laurence (I think it was him, but masks understandably make things harder). I was told that one of Lisa’s favourite thing to do in the morning is check this petition, to see new comments and signatures. You have done that! Thank you. You have put a smile on the face of an angel, I think. I don’t know Lisa, but I can definitely say she is the sort of person you’d hug if you could. And she is one of many who work tirelessly day in, day out to receive and sort donations, help individuals and families, get devices ready to donate, coordinate donations, sanitise the hub. I’m certain the list goes on.
So what I want to do is give this petition one final push. By next Saturday, 6th March, I would love this petition to have reached 5,000 signatures before I close it. Even though LDH have been able to reopen, support is still vital should this be challenged at any point.
I want to give every volunteer 5,000 more reasons to keep doing what they were already doing months before this petition started. None of them do it for praise or recognition, but your kind words and responses have lifted so many. We can also show so many people who receive the support of LDH that we care about them too.
I’m not great with words so I won’t go on, but your mission has now been set - even a quarter of you just getting one more person to sign and maybe even share this petition, will push us closer to the 5,000 mark. Let’s do this.
P.S. As a reward for reading this far, here is the recent BBC news report on LDH:
