It’s been fantastic to see the amount of unwavering support from people. Lewisham Donation Hub are hoping to be open on Monday 15th, as I understand it.
Apart from donating there, I am not connected with Lewisham Donation Hub and certainly can’t claim to have all the latest news, or to have personally had anything to do with any progress made with the council. However, what we have been able to do (and need to keep doing) is show how many people support them. Never ever underestimate the power of your words and the impact you can have. I appreciate that saying this seems like a contradiction considering how I just mentioned that I don’t have much to do with progress made - I just don’t want people to think I’m doing more than I am. I also haven’t been directly in touch with LDH because they are busy enough trying to operate in some capacity and deal with everything going on. But they sure as heck know that they are supported and are “pretty blown away by the amount of support” - not just from this petition, but in so many ways.

if you have messaged me and I haven’t gotten back to you, my apologies. I am going through a bad patch of health at the moment and working more hours than usual, which has an impact. Things are tough, but manageable. Anyway, this isn’t about me, I just wanted to briefly mention it so folks know. Simple as that.
So to wrap things it, keep sharing. As LDH have said, if they do reopen in the way they want to, there’s a chance that Lewisham Council will have to defend this decision in Parliament. In which case, it won’t hurt to have a petition full of support. Thank you.
