As you've probably already heard Adrian Attwater was found guilty this week of manslaughter and aggravated sexual assault and Paul Maris was found guilty of aggravated sexual assault and hindering the discovery of evidence. I was overwhelmed by the news and I'm sure many of you were too. It was our people power here on change.org that started the interest in this case which led to a comprehensive story on Four Corners and other media stories both on TV and in newspapers all around the country. This, in turn, led to the DPP finally taking action. It only took the jury 32 minutes to decide on a guilty verdict. I am pleased to see a report this morning about the NSW Attorney-General wanting answers from the DPP about the handling of Lynette's case. It is my understanding that this is not the only case with overwhelming evidence that Lloyd Babb has dropped and I personally would like to see a review of all the cases he has failed to prosecute. I think he owes Lynette's family a personal apology and they should be compensated for the emotional trauma they have endured because of the failure to initially prosecute Mr Attwater and Mr Maris almost 7 years ago. For us this has been a two year journey and it has been very emotional. Thank you once again for your ongoing support and love shown to Lynette's family. God bless you all for standing up for Lynette.
