Extend Yellow Zig Zags outside Sudley Infants School
The Issue
Sudley Infant School is located in a residential area. It is very busy in the mornings and the afternoons for school drop offs and pick ups.
Children walk, run, skip, hop along the pavement of Lugard Road and into school. Cars parking on this side of Lugard road (the side the school gate is on) are endangering our children. Bumping on the curb, reversing into the paths of children and adults walking into the school gates should be banned. IMMEDIATELY.
Unfortunately it is only a MATTER OF TIME before an accident happens. I have seen far too many near misses. Infact it s more important now that ever as the school is expanding and there will be an extra 90 children and parents using this access to the school in the near future.
It is not ROCKET SCIENCE. Park a little further away and WALK into school.
