I recently had an experience that I am sure all parents at one point or another have encountered. I was at Little Caesar's Pizza in Deer Park, TX, when my six year-old declared he needed to use the restroom after I had place my order. It was explained to me the facilities on property were for employee-only use. I understand the building is not equipped with a public restroom, but I am bewildered that a company that deals with the public cannot offer the use of their restroom to a child or to any of their customers for that matter. After placing a call to the corporate office that wants to know how they can make me "happy, happy" it was determined the reason my son was not allowed in the back to use the restroom was because it was a dangerous situation for a child and that corn meal was stored near the restroom. I will refrain from the corn meal issue and health hazards, but a company that wants to commence business with the public, should out of ethical and customer service reasons allow use of the facilities on property.
