Happy National Pizza Day! Today, join us in telling Papa John’s US to join its British counterpart by taking a slice out of cruelty--with vegan cheese. Click here to send a quick tweet to the pizza giant!
Last month, Papa John’s UK recognized the sizzling demand for vegan food by launching not one, but three vegan pizza flavors, along with marmite scrolls--and sold out within 24 hours.
But Papa John’s US is falling behind by serving misery with every single slice of mozzarella. Every year, over a half million cows languish on dairy farms, forcibly impregnated and separated from their babies, to churn out milk for Papa John’s cheese supplier Leprino Foods.
More than 100,000 of you have now signed Compassion Over Killing’s petition urging Papa John’s to take a slice out of cruelty by offering vegan cheese stateside. By dishing out vegan pizza, Papa John’s will make kinder, healthier, and more sustainable options more accessible to millions of people nationwide.
But the chain needs to hear from you that its US customers are craving vegan pizza. Click here to tweet at the pizza giant (or use our sample below)!
