As of (3/16/2022), Rec Room updated their UI again, and the update may not be what we want, but it does show signs of us having a chance to have our voice fully heard! 

The update that was released was an update made by RecRoom to make it easier to use the UI for VR players. They did this by simply enlarging the size of the UI so it'd be easier to point and tap to navigate. The newest update also fixed some of the tubings that got screwed over in the previous updates. While this may not be exactly what we want, and it seems evident that RecRoom seemingly has no intentions of offering a legacy UI mode in the near future (check the image below taken by both a friend and me on the same day), it is a start as they released this update due to users complaining the new UI was rather difficult for VR users to physically use. They listened to a complaint of the fanbase and even though it didn't give us our old UI or even a dark mode, they still gave us an improvement, proving that they may be trying! We'll have to try on our end to get a better change but it's possible!
