PETITION DELIVERED TO LISMORE CITY COUNCIL

I delivered the petition to Lismore City Council today. It's asks LCC to reverse its decision to reject a $90 million investment in Lismore Square. Lismore to retain its Regional City Status needs to encourage investment. It is not the CBD vrs the Square. They compliment each other. We need to retain as much shopping here as we can, not lose it to the Gold Coast. This investment will encourage growth and jobs in our community, and we ask the Councillors on LCC to say yes to investment. The petition garnered close to 2000 signatures in just 2 weeks.
