Today I called the ESC to see when Dr. Camp's term was up. Unfortunately his term will not be up until May of 2018, but until then I will continue to fight for our teachers, staff,and children until May of 2018 when I am able to run for LISD District 1. With all this time until my election I have plenty of time to continue to dig in and give the people of this community the truth they are not being told by our district. I do not want to come into the board in 2018 with a hidden agenda, and by now I think they know what my agenda is. We still need to support our teachers and staff making a safe, and better work environment. Give all of our children what they need in order to succeed in retaining a great education from LISD in order for them to live a more profitable life. I believe that with honesty, and communication we can change the focus of the ESC from being the top heavy dictator, to a more efficient "waste free" environment whose main concern are the students, teachers and staffs well-being and education. Getting rid of the nonsense jobs we currently are wasting our tax dollars on, and bringing in new individuals with students education in mind not a paycheck until retirement. We have allowed this district to promote people into positions they have either no knowledge of, or only are waiting out their days till retirement. We need new , fresh minds back in our district. The past has shown the failures and flaws of our district. Let us now take it back from the corrupt gestapo, and put us back on track to success as a district. Lets teach our children the knowledge needed to live life outside of school , and stop being forced to teach to a single state standardized test! School is about education and sculpting young minds, not money you receive per student. ECS give us back our district so we the community can work to get it out of the deep hole you keep digging. I can promise you this in 2018, Bates is coming and you may hate me , but believe me when I say " There is GOING to be a new sheriff in town and I plan on making our district rite again, with or without you .
