I have been informed that LISD administration has informed all teachers and staff members of LISD to not sign any petitions. By not allowing the people who work under this administration to voice their opinions or concerns, when ultimately it effects their jobs. So I ask you the LISD employees to do this one simple thing, so that we can show the board how upset we are with the current situations going on in our schools. Ask a friend who is not an LISD employee to sign my petition, and have them in the comments say “signed for an LISD employee”, by doing this it will show, without enclosing your name, that LISD staff are tired of the way they are being treated. My goal is to not just have Dr. Wilcox step down, but for our current board, who seems to have the wool pulled over their eyes by our administration to see there is an issue, and by replacing Dr. Wilcox with a full time superintendent with a person whose focus is on our children’s education, and our LISD employees. Please share and continue to fight with me to bring our district out of the current slump we have been in for years.
Thank You,
Jason Bates
