Should politics play a role in our children's education? ABSOLUTELY NOT! Regardless of your political views, rather you are republican , demonstrate, or independent this has no place when it comes to our children's education. Let's face the facts, your goal as a school board is to make the best decisions for the children's education and for our teachers . Politics has nothing to do with it, your social status as a board member has nothing to to with it. Your job is for the well being of the children and teachers in the district. So by saying this we need to vote for whose main goal is our student education and our teacher's well being. With the proper people on the board we can make our district above all other's. Mack has said that the school district is better than it has been in years.....not true just look at the reports on LISD on the TEA website. We are tired of the smoke and mirrors, and all the political BS that is going on. We need to change our current school board administration, and get rid of all the old , stale, stuck in their ways, good old boys. Be involved in your child's education, don't sit back and let a corrupt board make decisions you don't approve of. They are supposed to be our voice, but this is not happening. Let's take control and clean house and get the politics out of our education system and find the people who will do the job that will improve education in our district. We have a voice and we will be heard!
