Well the LISD board meeting did not get anything solved. Instead of answering questions from the community that was present they chose to go into a special session that only allows the board members and superintendent in the room, so no questions could be asked due to this process. My opinion about the LISD administration is this and you can quote me " complete and utter bullshit! " I took time out of my work day to leave and speak with my school board and was not allowed. But my fight has just begun. I am not one to give up on what I believe in and will fight every chance I get. After poking around today and asking some questions to family members who are on the board I was told that it's all a mess and a few members of the board are fed up, but that one vote out of seven will never solve the problem. After finding out how much our "part-time " superintendent makes in a year I believe $113000 a year is a damn good part time job, and we have two superintendents. I've looked into running for the school board myself, and I qualify, but with me only caring about our children's education will me being on this board of crooks help. I'm frustrated with my school board and we need a change, we need a superintendent that's first priority is our children's wellbeing and education. We do not have that now. We need "REAL" working class individuals on the board who's focus is our children. I by far am not the best at holding my tongue and am very out spoken, but this I believe we need as a board member who will represent the community that pays them and the children's education. In conclusion I have to say this : I will not sit idly by and watch our children's education suffer under our current LISD administration! I will be known as the man that gives the board and the superintendent the most problems. My children and other children's education are the most important things to me. You can choose to sit back and watch or you can get involved because I will be there until my questions are answered
