WE NEED YOU at the Board of Supervisor Meeting - Duane Arnold Solar 1 & 2

NextEra Energy is pushing hard, utilizing their money and muscle through organizations and political influence to gain approval to build a 1,200 acre solar facility north of Palo IA along the Cedar River.

 The Linn County Board of Supervisors first meeting will be held on Monday, August 22, 2022 at the Palo Community Center (2800 Hollenbeck Road, Palo, IA), at 6:00pm. 

We NEED you to show your opposition in person, it matters. NextEra has shown that they can pull people in from Johnson County, Marion, Iowa City, and Marion to support the development of this project. 

Many of you may think you'r voice or your presence doesn't matter, it does! We have more people who are against this project than are supportive of it. That's why their supporters are coming from out of town. If everyone who said they voice didn't matter actually showed up, we would be the majority. We would have a standing and powerful voice. PLEASE join us! Stand up for your community before they cover our rural landscape with a sea of black glass.
