Thank you so much for signing the petition everyone, it was enough to grab LKW University of Creative Technology(LUCT)'s attention! WOOHOOOOOOO changes have been made and THE BILLBOARD IS DOWN. 

However, and unfortunately, this has only been the first step. I received a lengthy response from the university, apologising to me regarding this 'misunderstanding' and heavily stating their involvement and contribution in Africa. Screenshots attached. 

I think we can all agree that this apology is focused on bigging up the university rather than truly being apologetic. Just another brush off to something so insensitive, so despicable. Where is the acknowledgment and commitment to ACTUAL CHANGE towards his African students??

WHERE IS THE APOLOGY to his AFRICAN STUDENTS which in my opinion, should be directed at them, not me. I am not linked to the university in any way, privileged enough to speak out without the repercussions of my visa revoked and having to fear literal death.

This response is about damage control. It is and was never about the  black students that they claim not to condone discriminatory acts against. 

Yes, I get it. They've responded, they've apologised, they have taken down the billboard. BUT. BUT this is not enough. We WILL NOT let it go until there is A SOLUTION FOR SUSTAINABLE CHANGE AND IMPACT towards those has profited off.
