The FBI stimates there are over 200 million firearms in the US. As a Maryland parent with 2 children in elementary school, I am appalled and shocked at the easy target that elementary schools have become. The most vulnerable children in our school system are elementary school children.
Having a full time security guard in Elementary schools will be beneficial in the following way :
-Bring security and safety if an armed individuals were to come to an Elementary school.
