Yesterday, I personally contacted David Nasser, the head of LU's Office of Spiritual Development (OSD,) about the petition--and he was enthusiastic about the possibility of bringing Rachael Denhollander to convocation. I am currently in touch with various people about potentially making this happen. But we still need YOUR VOICE. Denhollander undoubtedly has the media hot on her heels, demanding statements at every turn, and if we want her to dedicate her time to Liberty U., then we have to display our passion for hearing her story. Although David Nasser is on board with bringing Denhollander at this point, the petition will undoubtedly be a factor in her personal decision to speak at LU or not.
