This year Lewis & Clark College and Bon Appetit closed the Trail Room for dinner. As a result, every line in Fields Dining Room (The Bon) has been a consistent 30-minute wait (or more). This is a major issue for students with tightly-packed schedules and anyone looking to enjoy their dining experience at Lewis & Clark. As an alternative, Bon Appetite now offers meal swipe equivalencies at Maggie's but this "compromise" has not alleviated any of the issues with the dinner service at Lewis & Clark. This consistent overcrowding has led to smaller and stricter portions and unhappy students. 

In order to resolve these issues, I am starting a petition to reopen the Trail Room for dinner as it would evenly distribute students among the available cafeterias. Opening the Troom would diminish the crowds and newly-found nightly stress placed on Bon Appetit employees and students alike. Sign it. Share it. Let the administration know. Thanks.
