Sent a letter of request to IOC and a press conference at 11:00 PM on Augsut 4

Thank you for supporting the petition campaign.  To send our heartfelt wish to IOC and the Organizing Committee, I sent a package of a letter requesting that Mr. Bach invite all participants of the Tokyo Olympic Games to observe silence at 8:15 AM on August 6. The list of names of supporters is in two CDs.

The international network of peace workers is with us in spreading the word, in addition to the Japanese media.  To report what has happened so far and our intention to continue the effort, I will be holding two press conferences on August 4, 2021.

One is at 2:00 PM in Japanese, and the other is at 11:00 PM in English.  It will be 10:00 AM EDT and 4:00 PM CEST.  I hope that our shared commitment to peace would spread more widely and rapidly to the rest of the world.
