Despite no video evidence of the dogs attacking the public, NParks has informed that it will proceed to remove the dogs AS A PRECAUTIONARY MEASURE.
Signages were put up only on Saturday morning. Not much time was given for the public to be educated. No video evidence at all. In fact AVS said it had video recording but the dogs WERE NOT chasing anyone.
The dogs are not given a fair chance. We are left with no choice.
WE NEED YOUR HELP.
NParks will get its contractor to start trapping the dogs. We will be informed when any of the dogs are trapped. SOSD (and myself) will be given a chance to bail the dogs out (if they survive the stress and trauma). If we don’t bail them out, it is entirely up to NParks to manage them - assess if they are suitable for rehoming. If they are not suitable, Nparks may relocate these dogs. Euthanasia is also an option. NParks will not be informing us of their actions if we leave the dogs to them to manage.
If we bail them out when they are trapped, we need to provide boarding and rehab as these dogs are forest dogs. It is likely these dogs have health conditions such as heart worm and may need medical treatment. We need ready fosterers who are patient and experienced and willing to help these dogs.
We will also need funds for boarding, rehab and medical.

Thank you.
