When you have a system that is based on unending growth, such as our current economic system, one must ask oneself, what happens when we’ve exploited all resources to feed this growth? Can the planet provide us with unlimited resources forever? I think that any reasonable person can agree that it is an impossibility. The next question that should be asked is how do you keep this system if the result is ecological disaster for all? Food for thought, if people are poor then consumption diminishes dramatically thus saving the ecology. If this theory makes sense to you, I suggest that you read the following book to understand why we are all plagued by “austerity”, it is all part of the larger plan by the .001%.

In order to keep the reigns of power, the establishment is frightened of one thing and one thing only – Democracy.
