Lawsuit against Bank of Canada welcomed

Comer's lawsuit is scary to some because, if successful, it would restore the Bank of Canada's pre-1974 ability to lend money to different levels of Canadian governments interest free. Private bankers, who would lose billions in new government business if this occurred, need to take the long view of economic stability that only empowered governments can provide.
