Thank you so much for signing the petition. Every voice of support counts right now when we're up against forces that have more power, authority, influence and resources at their disposal. 

1. Tree cutting has begun. We have photo and video evidence. So a group citizens are going to court. The Supreme Court will be hearing the matter tomorrow (Friday, 29th July)
2. The tree-cutting currently taking place is a violation of Supreme Court's 2019 order. It had restrained authorities from cutting any more trees in Aarey colony after the then CM Fadnavis-led govt had formally submitted that no more trees would be cut.

Urging everyone to help in any way possible. If you can't be with us on the ground, help us online by circulating this petition far and wide. If we go from the current 7.5 lakh to 10 lakh signatures, we may be able to stop the tree cutting and save our forest.
