Hi All. A huge thank you for signing and sharing this petition. I’m stoked that there is such huge support for the ole bridge. 

I sent a petition update to local MPs Simone McGurk, David Honey and Josh Wilson as well as the Main Roads enquires line. This included the initial 1000 signatories.

Simone’s office responded confirming community consultation will commence in mid July.

Josh Wilson phoned to provide an update on the briefings he has been part of and that he is broadly supportive of strong and transparent community engagement.

Main Roads stakeholder engagement team also called to provide clarity that no descision has been made although they are 15% through the design process. They confirmed that consultation will start in two weeks.
