I am over the moon that so many people have already signed to support me and my children with our simple request: to let my boys come home to their mum. Thank you for your support. It means the world to us at a time when the courts have shown us: no-one will protect our rights and welfare or listen to my children's voices.

I am preparing for an appeal. Looking through the Swiss judgment is devastating. The Hague Convention on Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction can be used as a brutal tool to trash the rights of mothers and children, endangering their safety and welfare. It leaves mothers and children as the most marginalised people on the planet: only they have no right to seek protection from human rights violations under the Geneva Convention. They DO have the right, but the courts all too often violate it.

We have to change this. I am working with an amazing group of lawyers and activists in the FiLiA Hague Mothers project. The Hague Convention has harmed so many mothers and children. It has harmed us three times. It is not fulfilling its purpose because it is not being used by judges in the way it was intended.

I believe our case can bring the issue to public attention and help effect urgent change. Enough is enough. The courts are ruining lives and endangering our most vulnerable citizens - our children.
