Wonderful news.  The government has confirmed that elections will go ahead in Hampshire this May.  This is a huge success for everyone who signed this petition.  Thank you.

Certainly all of us have all played a part in highlighting the prospect of another delay.  The strength of feeling that we uphold our democratic right has been made loud and clear to the decision makers - both the incumbent Hampshire County Council leadership and the Government.  We should be very proud of that impact. 

The main thing we can do now is to make sure we get out and use our hard won vote in May.  Of course encourage as many of our friends and family to make sure they are registered and vote too.
