Amtrak passenger trains no longer travel along the Puget Sound waterfront after service was moved to the Tacoma Dome Station. This change removed direct rail access from waterfront communities and ended a scenic, historic route.

We urge Amtrak, BNSF Railway, and local leaders to allow Amtrak Airo passenger trains to return to the Puget Sound waterfront and to establish a station at the BNSF Tacoma Train Yard. Restoring this service would improve connectivity, support tourism, and promote sustainable transportation for Washington State.
