Leicester City to erect a statue of Claudio Ranieri at the King Power Stadium

This petition had 1,592 supporters

Claudio Ranieri came to Leicester City in the summer of 2015 with the target of surviving relegation, much to the derision of pundits and fans of other clubs; relegation was predicted and Claudio was favourite to be the first manager sacked.

Instead, Leicester City fans witnessed the greatest season in their club's history. Claudio Ranieri led Leicester City to a feat most fans daren't ever even dream of - against odds of 5000-1, they shocked the footballing world by winning the Premier League; a mind-blowing achievement that was talked about all around the world - even as far as Botswana's Kalahari Desert.

Sadly he has now parted company with Leicester City, but his achievement should never, ever be forgotten. This petition demands the immediate commission of a statue of Claudio Ranieri holding the Premier League Trophy aloft and wearing it's crown, so that generations of Leicester City fans hence can commemorate and celebrate the magnificent achievement of King Claudio.

Thank you, Claudio for making all of our wildest dreams come true.

We love you.
