AMAPCEO members working in Information and Information Technology in the OPS have been advocating for the government to introduce a ‘sunshine list’ that would apply to fee-for-service contractors who are retained in a consulting role for the government, but who are not employees and thus do not appear in the annual salary disclosure lists. AMAPCEO has opposed the use of fee-for-service contractors for years and has had some success in limiting, but not eliminating, the practice.

The Board of Directors has agreed to publicize the petition to urge the adoption of a fee-for-service sunshine list. Members can find the petition at change.org.
