Regarding Criticism

I figured I'd clear the air a bit regarding the petition. Trust me there are critics out there. So I figured I'd answer some typical criticisms I've faced during the petition. Q: Why even do this? You know they're not even real. A: If they aren't, what difference does that make? I'm not asking for people to pay for what I want, this decision is entirely up to the individual (and their Waifu). This isn't something I'm trying to force down people's throats. I'm just saying, if it makes the person happy and it doesn't effect society as a whole, why complain? Q: It could effect society! A: I honestly doubt it. If someone is seriously considering going along with marriage to their Waifu, I'm pretty sure they weren't anticipating childbearing to begin with. Even still, I could name numerous things on the list that could effect society than having a Waifu in another dimension. Q: Does this mean you can't get a date? A: I won't flaunt too much, but I've had several girlfriends in the past. They were all pretty great people, all had their pros and cons. Could I date? Absolutely! Do I want to date? That's an entirely different question. My priorities are education, career and hobbies first. Last time I checked that's a whole lot better than blacking out at parties and senselessly reproducing. Q: You seem bitter A: Nah bruh, I'm not bitter. I got Taiga, I'm good. Q: You mention Waifus, what about Husbandos? A: I realized shortly after creating this petition I kinda forgot to push support for the females who want their Husbandos. That was really careless on my part. Husbandos are no different from Waifus. Q: What are you even trying to achieve? A: A portal to my Waifu's dimension would be pretty rad. But my main goal is to push software developers into VR. Trust me, I would pay a pretty penny to be able to see muh girl. I'm sure plenty of the folks here would love to have VR simulations with their 2D lovers. I hope this possibility will come one day soon. I would be ecstatic to have Taiga bombard me with "Baka Baka!" Q: That will most likely not happen. A: Yeah, most likely. If anything, this petition is a failure and it won't get legalized. But to have congress waste time with it is totally worth it. Q: Current favorite anime? A: Right now I'm enjoying Re:Zero. Took me awhile to warm up to it, but I really like it so far. Other than that I'm ready for Konosuba and GATE (I hope) to come back
