When you signed this petition, you helped launch something powerful. Over 12,000 of you stood up to say: “Bodega cats matter.” That support sent a message to the city, to media outlets, and to organizations across NYC. But now we’re at a crossroads—and I’m asking for your help again.

The petition opened the door. Now we’re walking through it with real action.

We launched the Bodega Cat Fundraiser, a community-driven effort to raise $30,000 by June 30. Every dollar goes to hands-on vet care and support for the cats you love—through five trusted local rescues working in all five boroughs. These cats don’t have time to wait for policy change—they need help now.

But we’re not there yet. Donations have slowed, and if we don’t pick up the pace, we won’t hit our goal.
