Rehash: Would you pay $50 a year for registration or licensing if it meant PMDs could be legalised?

We’d now like to hear directly from the PMD community on an important question:

Would you be willing to pay an annual fee of $50 for registration or licensing if it meant personal mobility devices (PMDs) could be legalised for use in NSW?

This question comes in response from the NSW Transport Minister, indicating that advice received suggested people would be unwilling to pay for registration or licensing.

Let’s put that claim to the test. If enough current PMD users are willing to pay a modest annual fee, clear and measurable community feedback could help strengthen the case for legalisation.
