Since the Director of Public Prosecutions, Mr Roger Gaspard SC, told the second meeting of the Joint Select Committee of Parliament on Finance and Legal Affairs on Friday that he believes decriminalisation of marijuana would ease the backlog in the very congested justice system, the petition has received more than 100 signatures.
