Thanks to the help of this campaign and the letters and calls and posts on our behalf, our proposal for an eco forward land based agritourism experience has been confirmed through the NEC.

Now all of the activities we have been challenged around in the past are confirmed and we have open road to grow forward ...

After years of standing up for fair governance, protecting our land rights, and advocating for sustainable agritourism and independent, local business, we have finally won!

On May 13th of this year, after 3.5 years of advocacy, our Existing Use Commercial Retreat Centre status was finally and officially confirmed, affirming the decades of history hosting guests on this property, solidifying the hospitality future here to continue sharing this land and adding benefit to the community we are active in.

And then last week, the NEC confirmed our expansion plan!!!

This was developed to meet or exceed best practices for sustainable and compatible development of niche destination spaces in special natural landscapes. The proposal is off grid and low impact, using regenerative energy and battery power, sitting all on decks with no permanent impact initiated, and offering immersive nature experiences for education, wellness, and celebration.

This is amazing. The Evolution of Bubble Grove is confirmed for:

* 7 accommodation Domes for spectacular overnight getaways 

* Sky Camp Social Spa with Lounge and Workshop Domes, Saunas and Space

* Group Tent Camping @ Sky Camp

* Orchard Event Dome for Celebrations and Experiences

With your support cheering us forward, we held the line proving that small, family-run enterprises rooted in stewardship and community have a place and have a voice. This decision not only affirms Bubble Grove’s right to exist and grow but also sets a precedent for fair treatment of rural eco-businesses working in harmony with nature. 

It’s a victory over NIMBYism, bullies, and bad bureaucracy, and a reminder to keep going and fighting for what is right. This project champions balancing business and ecology, showcasing a model that feeds back and grows opportunities.

We couldn't have gotten here without the wonderful support from our family, our friends, and YOU! the wider community that signed this petition and let everyone know that almost 900 sets of eye were watching how they went about this.

And now, because of that collective effort, we are thrilled to announce that Bubble Grove has officially secured approval for our full project plan. Everything we have sacrificed for and worked towards is now real and ready to fly!
