The Winds Have Shifted ...

Over the past 3 years we’ve faced some complex and frustrating challenges confirming the 40 year commercial history of our Retreat Centre.

TODAY WE CELEBRATE

What began as a confusing process full of roadblocks has now evolved into something far more promising: clarity, collaboration, and real momentum forward.

I am thrilled to share that the confusion around compliance has been fully addressed.
2 weeks ago I submitted an 84 page report containing an incredibly thorough overview of the actual planning and legal landscape which governs the rights of this property.

In talks with NEC Director Shawn Carey, a newly collaborative conversation has formed and the project will now enjoy support not only from all of you awesome people, and the majority of the Niagara Escarpment Commissioners, we will also for the first time enjoy support from NEC staff.

From the Directors words, we expect written confirmation this week.

Even more exciting, our Sky Camp dome has been officially confirmed for day-use - Bubble Grove can finally open doors without challenge! a few more steps to go and we can welcome you beautiful souls to come unwind and play and explore and relax.

This is a foundational milestone marking a big turning point.

Behind the scenes, we’ve worked hard to foster a new, cooperative relationship with the NEC and thanks to this renewed approach, our plans to revitalize this space are now actively progressing and the blocks in our way are cleared.

I am incredibly proud to advocate effectively and shift the narrative around this project from strife to success in the making.
