After the raid on CK, the perp Lee Nesler of Lake Humane Society ignoring this petition, 4 people of CK were convicted on misdemeanor animal neglect charges in September of 2017. However, the Judge refused to give $54,000 worth of restitution LHS begged for. All were put on unsupervised probation. Basically, all LHS got was the convictions. They failed to get money, which was their ultimate goal. Unfortunately, they kept all the cats and several have died or were put down. The case is now in Appeal Court in order for the CK people be vindicated.
